Summer Sessions At The Castle: Malahide Castle & Gardens

Tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis

Tables will be held for a maximum of 90 minutes after gate opening time (until 6:30pm each day At The Castle). After this period, if your group has not arrived to claim your table - it will no longer be guaranteed and will be available for use by other guests. If your party arrives after this window and your table has been occupied by other guests, you will still be granted general admission access with no possibility of refund or compensation.

If only part of a table group arrive, they will receive their wristbands only at the gate. The rest of the group must also present the booking reference at check-in to receive theirs

Only guests with table wristbands may enter the table area (general admission does not grant table area access)

Each table ticket admits up to 6 people. Larger groups who want to be together must purchase additional table tickets

For groups with multiple table bookings, we recommend arriving early together to get tables together
Bringing own furniture policy:
General Admission tickets do not include picnic bench tables. General Admission guests who require it, may bring their own ‘light / low back seating’ if they wish. Light seating is only permitted in the designated ‘light furniture’ area.

✔ Lightweight single-person camping chairs/ folding chairs/ low-backed seating.
✔ Roll-up picnic blankets
Not Permitted Items
✖ Large deck chairs, inflatable furniture, recliners, or loungers
✖ Non-foldable wooden or heavy metal furniture
✖ Items with sharp edges or trip hazards
✖ Tall chairs that obstruct others’ views (e.g., director’s chairs)
✖ Gazebos, large umbrellas, or structures that require assembly
